Since the age of 16, I was exposed to a lot of different types of construction. Most of my family group up laboring in different fields of construction. Working with all my family and friends, I discovered many trades such as framing, painting, and welding. I realized that this is a career that I would love to do when I become older. My father is currently a manager at a very prestigious welding company that creates all different kinds of architectural signage. They produce signs for companies such as Coca- Cola and the Atlanta Braves. I also have various uncles who own their own private businesses. Some include painting and home remodeling, Granite installations, and pool construction. I've spent time working with each of them, learning their trades and understanding their purposes. Though I am still very young at 20 years old, I am very knowledgeable when it comes to the construction industry. I learned lots of information in different fields which are viable to any construction company. I hope to one day obtain an internship position in the field of construction, so that I may expose my knowledge and talents in the field.
