Current• Founded and operates a government, public policy, and public affairs consulting firm operating at the national and international levels• Major focus on the Washington political and policy process in and around the Federal Government• Expert consultant on executive-legislative relations, the inter-agency process, crisis communication and management, public policy, public affairs and public diplomacy, civilian-military affairs, the U.S. foreign policy process, national security affairs• Has represented domestic and international clients before both the executive and legislative branches of government as well as international organizations on subject matters and polices related to agriculture, defense, development, education, energy, finance, foreign policy, health care, taxes, telecommunications, and trade.Served as an Official International Elections Observer in numerous countries including El Salvador, Guatemala, Philippines , Pakistan, and Honduras. Presented a paper on civilian-military affairs at the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome 2010. Article published in NDC journal in 2011 on civilian-military training programs.Currently he is working as a consultant, advisor, lecturer, Senior Mentor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Department of State, Department of Defense, and USAID. His work includes a variety of civ-mil pre-deployment training programs for civilians and the uniformed military stationed in Central Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa. These include the Foreign Service Institute’s Provincial Reconstruction Teams (PRTs) for both Iraq and Afghanistan, DoD’s Ministry of Defense Advisors (MODA) program, DoD’s Civilian Expeditionary Workforce (CEW) program, DoD's Defense Education Activities (DODEA) ESL program, the U.S. Army’s Military Information Support Operations (MISO) units, USMC’s MARSOC teams and the USMC’s MAGTAF/MSTP exercises (LSE 15, 16, and 17; MEFEX 17 and 18; and Bold Alligator 17)
