My experience as an Administration, Claims & Insurance Specialist has equipped me with the skills necessary to transition into a Business Analyst role within the Enterprise Transformation team. Working on the development of the administration platform for MetLife Australia has significantly broadened my understanding of insurance platforms.In my role as a Business Analyst, I conduct a thorough analysis to gather business requirements and develop detailed business requirement documents (BRD’s) identifying areas for improvement. Subsequently I utilise this analysis to create user stories, test cases and actively participate in testing the new administration software.With the successful deployment of the new software, I assume a crucial role in training team members on its usage, ensuring a seamless transition. Additionally, I meticulously document procedure to facilitate ongoing operations and further enhance system utilisation.I have accumulated many years of experience as an Administration and Claims Specialist, complemented by an RG146 qualification, tier 2 in general insurance and various short courses. Additionally, I boast 20 years of expertise in administrative roles.Apart from my core responsibilities, I have also undertaken roles as an Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant. Moreover, I have actively managed the social club, served as a facilitator, contributed as s sustainability committee member, and acted as a change champion and key contact person during the implementation of a new administration platform. I have also been part of the negotiating team for the new Enterprise Agreement.My experience has honed my ability to organise tasks efficiently and effectively. Collaborating within teams, I value the expertise of my colleagues and actively engage in idea sharing. I approach situations with calmness and empathy.My flexibility, adeptness at multitasking, and responsiveness to organisational needs allow me to perform my duties with excellence.
