The purpose of this work was to carry out the Inventory of Mercury Emissions and Releases in Brazil, one of the phases of the MIA Project (Minamata Initial Assessment) which involves other major projects related to the implementation of the Minamata Convention on Mercury in Brazil. The main activities I developed within the project were: • Responsible for collecting and analyzing data on the use and disposal of mercury products with government agencies, companies in the electrical and electronics sector, and associations• Elaboration of reports and demonstrative spreadsheets on the import/export, commercialization, use, and disposal of products with mercury in Brazil• Training of environmental agencies and companies that produce and sell products with mercury in handling the Toolkit tool• Participation in meetings with companies and entities in the segment of commerce and recycling of mercury products• Analysis and preparation of a document referring to federal legislation limiting the presence, release, and migration of mercury in food, water, superfluous items, packaging, waste, and biomarkers, among others.

• Development and implementation of socio-environmental projects and resource efficiency projects on the premises of the Faculty of Technology of Jundiaí• Establishment of a partnership with a private company to finance the implementation of the bicycle rack project on the premises of the Faculdade de Tecnologia de Jundiaí.
