In the roles of Architecture leader of the Archex (Architecture Excellence) of the company, and as Technical Project Manager I worked with very diverse projects involving several technologies. A good example is the new Foreign Exchange System of the Santander Bank, which was built using C#, Java, Tibco (IProcess, Business Work, Rendevouz), XML and Cobol. Being Archex a cross-sector in the company, we performed for the Banking, Financial Market, Telecom, Insurance, Retail, Government and Aviation cells, in clients like Santander, Natura, TAM, Itaú, Bradesco, ONS, Porto Seguro and others.As Archex leader I also worked with SLDC, RFP, ASIS/TOBE investigations, Trouble Shooting, Technology Design/Redesign, Logical and Physical Architecture definitions, and innovation, using both Scrum and RUP.The project size varies from 200 to 100,000 hours using the most diverse technologies such as C#, VB.Net, Asp.Net. Being the Software Development and Innovation Coordinator of one branch in the company, I was responsible for the technology renewal of the Home Broker platform as well as the Financial News message distribution channel, substituting about 1000 small applications for a stable and robust platform which would provide information stream directly to the client with many filtering and transformation options. The home broker was entirely rebuilt as a cloud service and mobile application, using responsive technology in order to be used by our clients, which would provide the platform to their investor clients.We can mention as clients of information stream or the Home Broker, the assets in the country, as well as the main financial news companies. Some consumers/providers are Reuters, Bloomberg, Globo News and others. In the projects previously mentioned the most common languages used are FIX, FAST, FIXML, Java, C#, C++, XML, and bash.Another role I played was as Committee head of innovation and Committee member for SLDC and ALM standardizing.

Being part of a 90-people team, working in the new Exchange Trading Platform of the BVMF, the role I occupy was the Architect Leader of one system that comprehend the platform, the GTSLiNe, which is responsible for provide quantitative analysis and control of the assets' clients orders comparing the buy/sell position to determine if the order would be accepted. This system used C++ and in-memory hashes as a database for the high-frequency/low-latency part, which receives the orders, process and determines the acceptance in 148 micro-seconds. The other part, the back-end and configuration/administration, and storage were made using C# and MS-SQL. It is important to mention that the new Trading Platform was essential for the interlink of BVMF and CME (Chicago Merchandising Exchange).Another role I played was as Senior Developer for high complexity Algorithms, and analysis of the entire platform performance in terms of Low Latency and High performance, and FIX evangelist being part of the FPL LATAM Committee as Member in LATAM events.
