- Helped manage the daily tasks for 4 separate Funds. To facilitate the managing of the Funds, regular customer contact was required.- Daily tasks involve anything from basic non financial requests such as a name change to financial transactions like purchases or redemptions, or settling their accounts due to death. All transactions were uploaded manually into the in-house system to maintain accurate accounting of all client & Fund transactions.- Monthly, vetted client statements from our Custodians before approving them for release. Quarterly, reconciled client accounts before procuring client statements from our in-house system which I packaged and mailed with our prospectus’. Calculated Tax rebates for our clients outside of Ontario or Canada.- The Funds, valued monthly needed to be balanced across all client requests, management fees, tax rebates, and dividends. The balancing was done against our custodians (Banks) and their numbers. Balancing was done via custom excel sheets I designed or redesigned using Vlookups, Index and Match formulas, along with Macros to expedite data movement.- Oversaw the regulatory reporting for new clients by doing AML reviews. Aided in auditory requests pertaining to the Funds. - Maintained P&P documents as process flows updated and/or changed.

- Daily tasks involve the creation and management of registered and non-registered accounts for clients with net worths of upwards of $1 million- Maintaining client accounts involve anything from basic non financial requests such as a name change to financial transactions like purchases or redemptions, or settling their accounts due to death. - As a Specialty Team member I dealt with requests and transactions pertaining to Locked-In Accounts which involve pensions and the adherence of their applicable laws, LOIs or Letter of Indemnity which involve requests from third parties to correct an oversight or error on their end in regards to a client’s account, Adjustments which involve internal errors during processing, as well as estates.- As a Pricing Team member, I’m required to verify nightly the fund prices (NAV) of our companies Mutual and Segregated Funds as of market closing ensuring the reports from our head office consolidate with our internal system to make sure there are no discrepancies.- Month/year end pricing involves the inputting and verifying of distribution rates for all Mutual and Segregated Funds at IAC so that distributions are paid out on time and correctly to clients holding those funds.
