I am the bandleader of the Edward Paul Trio, a dynamic power trio that has performed extensively in Washington and Oregon over the last 4+ years. We perform a great variety of music, Rock, Soul, R&B, Pop and Blues, and earn rave reviews everywhere we play. I'm also a songwriter & recording artist, having contributed Music & music related projects to large corporations such as MTV, Experience Music Project & ASG. My original music can be found on iTunes and You Tube, and I also work as a supporting musician/sideman for a number of successful NW artists, such as Michael Powers, Paul Richardson, & Heather Sullivan. I've also had the good fortune to have performed with members of Yes, Heart, Tower of Power and Steppenwolf for corporate and charity events over the last 15 years.I also currently work part time as a music teacher, providing bass & guitar lessons in Western WA.The primary artist I work for as a bassist/vocalist is Michael Powers, a brilliant, internationally renowned Jazz guitarist from Seattle, and I have been performing & recording as part of his band for over 9 years now. He's been composing and performing Jazz & Original Music for over 30 years, and I've performed in Washington, Arizona and Nevada as the primary bassist in his band.

Bass NW was one of the world's first and largest "Bass Only" music stores, specializing everything related to Electric Bass. I was the manager of Bass NW for 7 years, and after 21 years in business, Bass NW closed it's doors for good in Sept. 2015. During that time, I had the good fortune to play a significant role for a world famous business that had clients from all over the world who came back again and again because of the great service, products and expertise that we provided. My background in IT / Help Desk Support was a great help because of the similarity that both industries require (Customer Service, Technical Knowledge, Sales & Support, Education and Demonstration, Troubleshooting, etc.)

I worked for Insight Global as a sub contractor providing IT support for Microsoft's Gold Certified Partners and was part of a new project selling SAAS for existing clients.

I worked for EMP for 4 years, from it's opening in 2000 as part of their Help Desk / IT Support team. My title from 200-2003 was Call Coordinator, which essentially worked as the Central Dispatch for the entire company and performed a wide variety of roles for the team. Here is a summary of the work I did for EMP:Routing all support calls to the correct departments, IT Support (by phone and in person) for entire company, Network Orientation for new employees, IT hardware setup for events & new hires, management & IT support of MS Office Suite, Windows, Desktops, Laptops, all peripherals, and all of EMP's Cell Phones (300 plus users).The last year I worked at EMP was as the Security IT administrator, providing support to all of EMP's security personnel, creating ID badges, assigning security access for EMP's staff & contractors, monitoring EMP's entire security system & dispatching staff to the museum.After EMP has it's 3rd round of layoffs, I was briefly let go, but was hired back 10 days later bya different director for the security team, and I was the only employee who was brought back out of 75 employees who were let go.During my tenure, I also contributed educational content and musical performances to EMP's Jazz in January events & was the lead vocalist & bassist for EMP's "house band" and performed at events over 25 times during my 4 years at the museum.
