I am a Physics graduate from Stony Brook University and an Associate Engineer at Flo-Tite Valves and Controls, where I design, create, verify, and modify 2D and 3D drawings of industrial valves in SolidWorks. I ensure that all valves, both in inventory and in development, comply with industry standards and specifications, such as ANSI and ISO-9001. I am also Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Nelson Controls, a new manufacturing company that specializes in producing high quality valves such as our brand new non-rising stem globe valve. I ensure that our products are engineered and marketed with great attention to detail.I have also gained experience in flow testing, web development, and market research through various projects and collaborations. I assisted in designing prototype valves using Inventor Pro and SolidWorks, and mediated with our engineering teams and customers to meet the desired specifications. I overhauled the Nelson Controls website for a more modern and fluid user experience, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I attended trade shows, conducted market research, and produced executive summaries and pitch decks for investors.I am passionate about learning new skills and new technologies that can enhance the customer experience.
