Software Quality Assurance Analyst
CurrentCollaborating with developers, project managers, and leads in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure requested/required testing is done accurately and on schedule. Individual responsibilities vary based on scope of testing required. Duties included:Creating and executing test plans for small/single system changes to back-end systems/databases utilizing Unix, Oracle/SQL, TeradataCoordinating with leads to assist on creating/executing test plans for large complex multi-system projects, for systems including customer management platforms, as well as billing and payment systemsCoordinating with Retail POS test team to process related changes/files through back-end systems/databases as needed, as well as validating that outputs from their testing stand up to scrutiny when passed back up to those systems.Testing for updates scheduled for implementation at consistent intervals to ensure the latest versions do not cause undesired performance/behavior issues to their respective systems (such as monthly Windows security patches for Retail POS servers and Back-End Support servers).
