My name is Edwin Santana and I recently graduated from Trinity College with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. As a resident of New York City and the child of immigrant parents, I am driven by a deep commitment to support individuals and communities, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges. My knowledge of Anthropology gives context and background on systematic issues that affect human beings around the world, and I am interested in using that knowledge to approach the field of social work most efficiently. My goal is to become a Family Social Worker so I can provide support to families who are suffering abuse or injustice while using my extensive knowledge in Anthropology to understand how abuse and injustice affect and disrupt the family life.My interests in human evolution and culture have inspired me to pursue the field of social work. I am interested in research opportunities as well as full-time job opportunities that will allow me to gain exposure to the field of social work. I hope to utilize my profile to connect with professionals and discover opportunities in the anthropology and social work field.
