The scope of problem management includes… Show more I am responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the IT policies, procedures, and plans for the ITSM areas of Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management at WorkSafeBC. I am also responsible for managing the daily operations that govern ITSM areas to successfully introduce changes of varying complexity to the Production environment across the organization.I develop and document problem and change processes. The scope of problem management includes diagnosing causes of incidents, determining the resolution and ensuring the resolution is implemented. The change process includes assessing the impact of a change, identifying priorities, obtaining approvals, managing the change implementation along with monitoring, reviewing and reporting on all change requests. Manage the emergency change process.I schedule changes that impact the production environment; identify and produce trend reports that indicate the success level of division changes made; maintain the change control records in the application; conduct management review sessions; chair change control and problem review meetings; ensure all division staff are trained on the system and processes.Identify opportunities for quality improvement and assist in subsequent developments and implementation of programs; define and report on quality measurement data; perform and coordinate quality studies and client surveys.Coordinate the creation of standards and prepare proposals to develop standards, ensuring consistency and validity; chair the standards advisory committee meeting; promote, write, and document approved standards.
