Hearing “Dear Mama” evokes something in all of us. We started our journey in East Harlem with the goal of reintroducing hospitality to the community cafe setting.Within seven months of opening our doors, Columbia University invited us to be the anchor tenant for their new $7 billion campus north of 125th Street in West Harlem.With the creative freedom and support of the University to push the boundaries, we set out to create a masterpiece in West Harlem - a place for people to socialize and indulge themselves in quality food and beverages, the fine art of meticulous service, and dynamic live music programming.We are a neighborhood joint where everyone is invited, no detail is too small, and where casual yet attentive service is found.
