Working in defense contracting gave me the opportunity to use my analytical and problem-solving skills to collaborate on cutting-edge research projects and to learn about the software development process. There I gained valuable experience in project management, process improvement, and leadership.At Pearson I lead a talented team in developing online learning solutions for college students. I excel at working across functional groups to find creative, pragmatic solutions to challenging problems, and I am driven to succeed in providing quality content to our customers.As a manager, I strive to provide balance and support to my team, while allowing them the space they need to create and grow. I find joy in supporting them to ensure they possess the right tools and resources to do their work effectively. I am passionate about well-being and work-life balance, and carry these values with me in my management style. I am also passionate about teaching and fitness. For many years I taught college math as an adjunct instructor. I am also a Certified ACE Group Fitness Instructor.
