I embarked on my journey in this field by volunteering as a client mentor for a women’s sober living community in 2020. This experience not only allowed me to build my network but also led to a part-time role as a night manager. Subsequently, I seized the opportunity to become a Case Manager for a recovery treatment center in 2022, and in the new year, I earned a promotion as the Program Coordinator for the adolescent track. Opting for a career break to align with personal goals, I continue to provide services for adolescents and adults seeking recovery from substance abuse, as well as mental health challenges, as well as continue my education in psychology and addiction studies. The aspiration to serve as a catalyst for positive change fuels my commitment to making a lasting impact on communities and individuals.
