What is Environmental Health? Environmental Health is the real life application of biological and physical sciences to promote and protect man's health, safety, and well-being by applying technical knowledge as the solution to problems of a sanitary nature and developing methods for the hygienic management of man's environment. What We DoThe Environmental Health Division of the Denton County Health Department administers the Denton County on-site sewage facility (OSSF) order throughout the unincorporated portions of Denton County.
