North Georgia

As vice president of marketing I am responsible for brand management, market research/intelligence, advertising, public relations, and social media. I lead a team of professionals who create and execute marketing/communications strategies and programs for Goodwill of North Georgia. As a member of the executive staff I also help set the organization's strategic direction and consult core business units on ways to achieve their goals through marketing and communications.

In this role I directed the agency's media relations, internal communications, crisis communications and corporate communications strategies. I was responsible for overseeing communications staff and ensuring that all messaging strategies and tactics were appropriately aligned to business goals. I also served as the organization's primary spokesperson.

As public relations manager I prepared and disseminated information regarding Goodwill through newspapers, periodicals, television, radio, and other forms of media. I managed branding and communications activities and helped ensure increased public awareness of Goodwill of the North Georgia.
