Nellyvision is an independent software developer based in the UK. Working as a founder and director of the company my position involves managing day to day administration from accounts to HR. I am also directly involved in project management, and software development. In addition we have a number of trainee's who require mentoring. Our key focus is in the gaming sector, and due to the technical nature of our staff we are also able to complete many business orientated projects as well.

TIGA is the non-profit trade association representing the UK's games industry. Our members include independent games developers, in-house publisher-owned developers, outsourcing companies, technology businesses and universities

Teaching computing to years 5 - 8. Prior to these dates I did freelance teaching at the school.

During this time I worked as a technical writer for a Mac developer. This involved writing technical documentation for the API to allow external developers to use the platform.

I led a cross studio/project department. This involved the day to day handling of QA and scheduling projects to be tested. The majority of testing was from within our own studio; however we were frequently required to assist other studios.I am knowledgeable in Sony (PSP, PS2, PS3) and Microsoft (Xbox 360) standards testing, and had all projects pass standards testing first time.I worked closely with publishers QA departments to ensure simplicity of bug tracking. As part of the management team I was involved in ensuring budgets were met and general studio admin.

I initially started work with ZOO in customer support and assisting generally with the production process in the publishing of titles. I handled the ratings of games through PEGI, USK and BBFC. I was involved in ensuring products were scheduled to be published on time and that all assets had been received and were distributed to the appropriate departments. This involved ensuring that all texts were translated and also arranging for PC titles to be replicated.I moved over to the QA department full time in 2005 where I handled all the QA for all of the DVD titles from hands-on testing to managing when and how a title will be tested. This also involved managing the bug database (JIRA), which I recommended and installed at the end of 2005.

Working as a customer advisor in RBOS's Natwest call centre, I answered various customer queries, addressed complaints and offered general advice on accounts.I handled confidential data about each customer and was often called on to explain complex issues clearly, patiently and knowledgeably. I was also heavily involved in the merger between Natwest and RBOS, helping train members of staff on new systems and procedures.

My main responsibilities at this flagship store in Telford involved processing large sums of cash and EPOS transactions.I also managed checkout operators, trained new members of staff and covered minor HR issues such as holiday arrangements and shift scheduling.
