I have worked in the software development industry since 2003, primarily the games sector. During that time I have been involved in all aspects, development, publishing and distribution. With my partner I have been running our own software development company since 2010. In addition to software development experience I also have managerial experience including budgeting, day to day HR requirements, hiring, firing and training new members of staff.I am passionate about the educational market and with the advent of smartphones and devices, children are now growing up with a connectivity to the world that previous generations couldn't have imagined. With this in mind I feel it is vital that children are educated about not only how to use pre-written software, but also taught how computers and software works along with an understanding of the internet and how every part of our life could be potentially affected by computers.
