In collaboration with multiple strategic partners, including the United Way of the Piedmont and the Spartanburg County Foundation, developed and implemented a national model for systematic community improvement based on changing critical indicators in 10 key areas. Coordinated and established procedures for grant making to non-profits and other subrecipients. Created the County’s first Community Development Advisory Committee and Housing Loan Committee. Provided staff support, financial management, and coordination of more than 100 volunteers involved in the County’s health planning functions.
