The field of Public Health has always been a passion of mine. My dream is to impact the lives of people around the world. The plan is to start with the issues surrounding access to health care. Having the right policies and procedures in place ensures that everyone is treated fairly, with dignity, respect, and compassion. It is these same qualities that I have put forth every day for over eight years, working with the Department of Corrections. My next course of action is to find cures for diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and HIV. I know that at the end of my tenure with the University of South Florida, I will certainly be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to make my dream a reality.
