Ability to review, understand and execute the applicable knowledge of Cendera Funding, Agency and Investor’s policies and procedures (including numerous Bond programs) to be able to make a sound judgment on each loan file reviewed. Carefully prepares a detailed analysis of the loan package to determine if a potential borrower(s) presents an appropriate level of risk to issue an approval/denial of FHA, USDA and Conventional Residential loans. Review and analyze documentation provided on each loan including the 1003, credit report, income and asset documentation, purchase agreement, title report, etc. to make an informed lending decision in compliance with Agency and Investor guidelines. Pre Purchase Team Lead - Mentor pre purchase team members and act as primary contact for pipeline questions and escalated issues. Ensure the timely reviewing of loans by the members of my team. Pipeline review and management, manage turn times, loan review and follow up with lenders. Create, run and distribute pre purchase reports tracking teams daily production activity and quality of loans. Work with the SVP of Pre purchase to ensure quality and production. Manage working relationship between u/w and the sales team. Conduct annual reviews with staff, and set and track progress towards reaching goals. Provide leadership and training towards development of pre purchase review processes. Conduct weekly meetings with the team to go over guidelines and information from SVP. Provide exceptional customer service to lenders as well as the internal staff.Post Purchase Risk Analyst - Review post-close files for credit quality, data integrity, and adherence to FAMC/Agency guidelines as well as secondary market guidelines. Determine lender training needs and provide feedback on any trends identified. Document policy/process variations and work with operations to provide both written and verbal feedback as needed. Assess the level of risk associated with a loan on a transaction basis and refer to the Fraud Prevention and Investigation Unit, and/or the Repurchase unit. Managed a pipeline of 30 to 45 construction and existing loans by obtaining the necessary documentation and coordinating closings. Accountable for a staff of 16 employees, whose job descriptions range from note and file registrars’ to scanners and shippers.
