In this capacity, I've undertaken several key responsibilities to contribute to the committee's objectives and the larger college community.Project Evaluation: Collaborated in the assessment of project submissions, determining their viability, and providing recommendations to the TCM.Proposal Review: Engaged in a comprehensive review of all proposals, ensuring that each adhered to the committee's standards and met the required two-thirds majority criteria for approval at the TCM.Budget Oversight: Reviewed and gave feedback on high-value proposals exceeding $25,000, ensuring that they underwent rigorous scrutiny over two consecutive TCM sessions.Project Monitoring: Assisted in overseeing approved projects, ensuring they provided written updates on their progress and utilization of approved funds in a timely manner.Inter-Committee Collaboration: Worked alongside the SCCC Chair in addressing any follow-up questions regarding project updates and ensured that all committee members were kept informed.Proposal Initiatives: Participated in bi-yearly calls for proposals, ensuring a steady influx of projects and maintaining the committee's active role throughout the academic year.Committee Meetings: Regularly attended SCCC meetings, participating in both scheduled and unscheduled sessions, and contributed to essential decision-making processes.Community Engagement: Supported the SCCC Chair in ensuring the committee met its meeting requirements and responded proactively to any petitions by Members of the College.
