I was selected to serve in a newly-elected U.S. Representative's advisory council with 40 other Collin County residents. (Population: 1,095,580) I focused on bipartisan progress in rapidly a “blue-shifting” area by working on forums addressing issues of improving race-relations in the community, the removal of Confederate statues, and ensuring the rights to peaceful protests. This allowed me to develop and strengthen local political partnerships to further bipartisan agendas.In the committee, we focused time on discussing current U.S. policy, and debating potential future policy, as well as researching and presenting data on issues District 3 residents wanted addressed within Congressman Taylor's Congressional term.

I was able to strengthen skills in analyzing Generation Z trends using analytics and behavioral economics. I developed passion for economics and econometrics which continues today. I also helped address the issue of lack of funding provided for young entrepreneurs in the venture capital sector, helping lead to the creation of a philanthropic offshoot organization focused on providing grants to young entrepreneurs who were denied seed funding to experiment with.
