Hello! My name is Elisa George and I am an undergraduate student at Fordham University Gabelli School of Business. My passion for business has encouraged me to pursue a career in either finance or accounting. Some of my interests include public speaking, fashion, and dance. I am a current member of Fordham’s Smart Woman Securities, Beta Alpha Psi and Fashion for Philanthropy, and I am trained in Indian Classical dance. Social media is another interest of mine, and I have spearheaded Instagram pages for clubs as a method of social media marketing.I have also worked two retail jobs, and front desk at Hilton hotel that helped me gain experience in facilitating customer and management relations. Working in customer service also taught me that presentation and communication are essential to ensure a positive consumer experience. I am a dedicated, organized person that strives for excellence as I am ready to take on business-related opportunities. Although I am from Long Island, the proximity to New York City from Fordham is exciting as I seek available internships.
