Life as an Army wife, mother, business owner, and Soldier fuels my passion to volunteer with charities, organizations, and boards that support girls, women, veterans, and entrepreneurs.I am a detailed-orientated, professional who seeks solutions and gets diplomatic results of complex issues. I have over 15 years of experience in individual and organizational conflict resolution, project management, and cultivating positive relationships. My military service granted me the opportunity to manage medical, logistic, and human resources operations. In my previous role as the Deputy Logistics Manager of 21 people in 6 locations nationwide. My team managed training requirements, conducted quality assurance checks, and advised senior leaders on best practices for logistical operations that supported nearly 3,000 people worldwide. A Secret Security Clearance allowed me to properly manage over 120 million dollars of government equipment and multiple budgets for operations. As a certified DEOMI Equal Opportunity Leader and Health Services Human Resource Manager, I know the importance of cultivating a healthy work environment. I firmly believe in being in command and out of control. My leadership style focuses on integrity, encouraging collaborative effort, and building trust. I empower my direct reporting personnel to lead, take the initiative, and stay current on changes within the field.
