Over the years I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings and the non-profit community. My life goal is to give back—to both the community I live in and the greater international community. I believe I can contribute by educating on all levels— “ordinary” people, communities, organizations and in public policy forums. It would be rewarding to have a career involving programmatic and research components. The opportunity to manage a small team has provided an opportunity to encourage and develop individuals as they grow professionally and personally. Work with a research team tasked to reduce the occurrences of cardiovascular disease within a targeted community, has inspired my pursuit to make a difference in the lives of others. I want to be a Public Health educator and researcher. These roles would allow me to use the public health and business skills I have learned and developed through education and experience while providing a platform for continued professional growth. The specific strengths I bring to any position are the ability to manage operations, proficient communication skills, and leadership capability.
