I manage a team of six in the Quality Improvement unit of a behavioral health (mental health and substance use) care system that serves Medi-Cal eligible individuals. I design, drive, and analyze new and existing data and operational workflows to inform our service delivery and measure performance improvement. I lead research projects based on published evidence-based practices and develop new ideas leveraging local resources. I build and nurture relationships both within the organization and with partner agencies to understand key issues, communicate insights and proactively develop stakeholder engagement. I love working independently and have learned how to lead a team effectively to accomplish our goal of efficient consumer-focused care.Notable projects include: • Manage two annual performance improvement projects, most recently focusing on client retention during transitions between levels of care and emergent care coordination • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and provide recommendations to determine if contracted providers may use staff caseloads rather than contracted minimum service numbers due to unprecedented vacancies • Create and utilize data visualization dashboards using clinical and billing data for key outcome indicators such as wait times, productivity, program census and length of stay, and no-show/cancellation rates • Map client flows in several unique program areas to determine process inefficiencies and possible solutions • Train contract analysts on interpreting and communicating QI data to providers • Standardized referral processes and timeliness benchmarks • Implemented a continuous monitoring process for timeliness to care data • Developed a SharePoint site to track Full-Service Partnership providers' capacities and treatment information • Launched our COVID vaccination site via the SalesForce-based myCAvax system

• Managed over 25 grants and contracts from $10,000 to over $1 million per year• Acted as Account Manager for our marketing contract, working cross-divisionally in our 400+ staff department to gather internal stakeholder requirements and developing a SharePoint site to organize all materials, approvals, and invoicing• Spearheaded HealthyFresnoCountyData.org data sharing dashboard and detailed the product to several community-based partners on uses and benefits• Initiated the comprehensive community health improvement plan, internal quality improvement plan and workforce development plan, including identifying appropriate use of grant funds to seed the projects• Managed the implementation of COVID-19 quarantine/isolation regulations, oversaw nonprofit organizations' community assistance programs, and led the drafting of the community response plan

• Monitored groundwater for safety standards by collecting scientific samples from public and private wells• Inspected water and wastewater treatment facilities and certified water systems' cross connections• Tested backflow prevention control devices on county-owned property and reported malfunctioning devices for repair

• Inspected multi-unit housing units and public areas for environmental health and safety compliance related to pests and unsanitary conditions• Recommended corrective actions to property owners with appropriate deadlines• Presented serious offenses to be arbitrated before the Board of Health
