I work part time at NMIT as a lecturer and trainer for students in our hospitality and commercial cookery courses.My role involves curriculum development, validation and moderation and mentoring new staff.I have taught a large range of hospitality subjects over the years researching and developing areas such as food hygiene, food and beverage subjects, first aid and food safety.I have taught in China on 2 occasions and also taught in Korea.

I worked in the silver service dining room and on many functions assisting with set up, service and general waitress duties.

I taught food and beverage management and food commodites within the hospitality department.

I taught English in Tokyo full time to a range of business people including some leading Japanese coroprations such as Bridgestone, Seven Eleven and Fuji Bank among others. I also had a part time job teaching English at a primary school to children from 5 years to 12 years of age. I gained knowlege of Japanese culture and customs as well as some language ability.

I organised staff rosters and ordering of room service amentities such as organisation of mini bar items for distribution with staff.
