Business Program Manager for Suddath Government Services to support and improve technology solutions that align with the strategic goals of the business unit and the enterprise

Systems Integration Team & Award Management Team (April 2020 through Feb 2021) These teams were part of a project to create a large ecosystem of integrated Angular applications to support move management, vendor management, award management, document management and account management. The project was for a multibillion-dollar federal contract. The Systems Integration Team was responsible for building out the API infrastructure, as well as managing integrations between systems from other companies and a move management system that was being built simultaneously. The Award Management Team was responsible for automating the distribution of shipments to third party vendors by integrating with the move management and vendor management systems and evaluating vendor criteria to determine the most appropriate vendor to perform the services awarded. Vendor Management Team (Feb 2021 to Present) As business needs evolved, I transitioned from the previous project and became the product owner exclusively for the vendor management system (VMS). The VMS consists of an internally facing site for our supply chain management team, and an externally facing portal for vendors to use to accept service offers, keep track of shipments they had performed services on, and submit documentation and invoices.

As BPM I was the technology liaison to the Suddath International business unit to support their legacy software while simultaneously serving as the Senior Business Analyst on a project to replace that software. The first phase of the replacement project was outsourced to a third-party development team but was eventually brought in-house as we expanded our internal development team. During this time, we partnered with a consulting company who guided us through a successful Agile transformation.

I supervised a small team of software developers that supported our legacy enterprise-wide software which included a document management system as well as a proprietary document workflow system. We were tasked with application support as well as the remediation of technical debt. Additionally, I hired, onboarded, and managed a team of DBAs working through a third-party contractor out of Chennai, India. This was the first time the Suddath companies had employed DBAs.

I was the supervisor of the software development team, which grew from 3 to 14 developers over the course of 6 years. My role was a blend of business analyst, product owner, team manager and software developer. In this time, I accompanied a business unit president to meet with a team on the MD Anderson campus to showcase a technology solution and gather additional requirements. We delivered a specialized solution that secured the business relationship.
