LAGER is the aerospace subsect of UA's Remote Sensing Center, dedicated to research in wide variety of disciplines including:Design and analysis of autonomous vehicles, including groups/teams/swarms cooperating together Guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems for vehicle systems, as well as extensions to tracking and planningRelated estimation algorithms to support autonomy, power system operation, and GNC using advanced statistical modeling techniquesI work as a research assistant under Dr. Jordan Larson.https://lager.ua.edu/My current main project is titled, "Rangefinder-Based Attitude Determination for an Indoor Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle.'' I aim to find the most accurate method of attitude determination in sUAVs in order to improve the performance of remote sensing technologies.

I work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Easir Papon in the Aerospace Materials and Structures Laboratory. Currently I am working to extrude thermoplastic filament that can be used to build molds for additive thermoset carbon-epoxy composites created through frontal polymerization. This process, if successful, would allow on-demand and environmentally sustainable manufacturing of aerospace structures in a fraction of the time currently used in major plants, reducing carbon emissions and increasing productivity.

I worked closely under Dr. Randall Law, helping to restore a WWII era B-25 Mitchell Bomber to full flight capability while researching the environmental and historical impacts of military and civilian aircrafts throughout aviation history.
