I served as the advisor to the Underground Plant Protection Advisory Committee (UPPAC) and the Pipeline Safety Division, providing legal advice on matters regarding the enforcement of gas pipeline safety laws. I led a collaborative team process to enforce the Indiana 811 Law, with team members processing hundreds of cases per month. Over the first six months of my leadership of this team, we eliminated a backlog of nearly 1,000 cases, which has led to more timely enforcement. I led regular meetings with the Indiana 811 Law enforcement team for continuous improvement and increased efficiency of this enforcement process, including cross-training sessions. Additionally, I served as a member of the IURC's Regional Transmission Organization / Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ( RTO / FERC ) Team, representing the State of Indiana in regional state organizations Organization of PJM States Incorporated ( OPSI ) and the Organization of MISO States ( OMS ).

Prosecuted criminal cases through each stage of the judicial process, including bench trials and jury trials. Drafted and negotiated plea agreements. Performed depositions, prepared witnesses for trials, performed legal research, sought justice for victims and for the community. Performed prompt, unbiased and impartial reviews of domestic violence cases as a member of the Family Justice Center team. Provided professional and respectful guidance and assistance to officers and detectives during investigations. Ensured thorough preparation of cases prior to filing and utilized prosecutorial discretion in determining whether there was enough evidence to file charges and which charges to file. Filed thousands of cases in a timely manner. Built and maintained good working relationships with representatives of various law enforcement agencies. Served as a resource for officers and prosecutors, providing advice, litigation strategy and assistance with building cases, assessing cases, and solving problems.
