After graduating from Barrett, the Honors College at ASU, I have been working in a Naturopathic clinic as a medical scribe and assistant. I plan on attending Naturopathic medical school in the coming fall where I will conduct research and graduate with a doctorate degree. After working in a Biochemistry lab at the BioDesign Institute for 4 years, I have a passion for discovering the unknown. Previously, I worked with DNA to create proteins to better understand the function of gamma-secretase and p75NTR in the cellular membrane. In addition, for several years, I have been a counselor at a summer camp for Diabetics where I learned how to be responsible for the health of kids while maintaining good communication and ensuring they have fun. I work with a team of other diabetics and healthcare professionals to ensure the safety of all the children while they had a summer camp experience. In the past, I have worked for a mom and pops motel working with customers and dealing with hospitality, finances, housekeeping, and landscaping. I eventually started my own small business when I was in high school by helping people around my community with any odd jobs they needed to be done such as babysitting, dogsitting, raking, landscaping, cooking, housekeeping, and more.
