I am very proud of my debut book, 'The Complete Book of Vegan Compleating: An A-Z of Zero-Waste Eating for the Mindful Vegan', which was borne out of my passion for reducing food waste. I am also the author of 'How to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint: Practical Ways to Make a Real Difference'.

I have been working in the Forestry Commission's national communications and marketing team - a role spanning across communications, internal engagement, digital and events. This includes admin, writing and proofreading content for print, e-newsletters, events and online.

As a freelance writer, editor and journalist, I have contributed to various publications and projects. I enjoy a new challenge and adapting my writing to different audiences. Titles include The Great Outdoors magazine, Growing Green International, Plant Powered Planet, DIVA magazine, Psychologies magazine and Pebble magazine. I have also worked with various companies, such as GreenJinn, Organibox and Touchline.

I worked at Psychologies for five years and progressed to the role of Eco Living Editor, as well as continuing my work as Digital Editor and regularly writing features. My role covered:- Writing features, including interviews and personal journey pieces. - Writing my monthly 'Eco Worrier' column about sustainable living.- Managing the 'Real Eco' awards.- Editing 'The Fix' (news and culture section).- Overseeing all digital, including the website, e-newsletter and social media.

I joined Psychologies as its Editorial Assistant, working across the team:- Managing Psychologies' social media profiles across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.- Pitching and writing features.- Editing news, culture, letters, contributors and 'ask the doctor' pages.- Assisting with wellness pages.- Managing the website and creating original web content.- Supporting sponsored campaigns with competitions, events and web content.- Assisting across the team.

Working as part of Culture Trip's remote editing team, I proofread copy to check facts, grammar and SEO, as well as editing for flow and readability. I also added and checked headlines, captions, images and hyperlinks.

I was delighted to work for the sustainable clothing charity TRAID on its 2020 project to help teachers educate about sustainability. The charity's work is fascinating, inspiring and so important. I interviewed experts, wrote news stories and features and edited and produced the newsletters.

DIVA is Europe's largest brand for LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people. As sub-editor, I was responsible for proofreading, fact-checking and copy editing the magazine each month, working in both Word and InDesign.
