Costa Store Manager
I was tasked with opening and establishing a new branch of ODEON's Costa Coffee franchise. Alongside building notability and positive reputation among consumers within the local area, I was fully responsible for all operations of the store.Since the store's opening in October 2015 forecast revenue targets were consistently exceeded and my store was awarded the title of Brand Standards Champion three times after receiving a 96.6% rating during two of our compliance checks; a distinction rarely given to new stores by Costa.I was also awarded the ‘Flying Start’ Award at the March 2016 National Costa Conference. This was to celebrate the success of me and my store for being the best new franchise store throughout the whole of Costa Coffee UK.Because of my store's continued success, I trained three new Store Managers within the company to prepare them and give them best practice on opening a new store.After eight years within ODEON, I felt that it was time to move on and was approached about a new role with a different company.
Cinema Manager
For this position, I was promoted and relocated from Newcastle to Leeds. During this appointment I was responsible for all areas of the cinema operations. This included stock control including shrinkage and damage management, ordering and budgeting, recruitment & selection, health and safety, performance management, payroll processing, customer journey and more. In this role, I was also responsible for all areas of the digital projection including transferring films, film scheduling and more.I was then offered the opportunity to relocate back to Newcastle and open up the company's new Costa Coffee Franchise

In 2013 I received the award for Team Leader of the year.Whilst in this role, I was responsible for all of the cinema charity events. This allowed to plan several successful charity events to raise several thousand pounds for Odeon's charities NSPCC & Variety Club.
