Ellen Weiss Design provides various levels of interior design services and construction oversight depending on the desired project scope. Our interior design services range from single room refresh to full kitchen and bath remodels, whole house renovations, finish material/furniture/art selection, and general contractor procurement and construction oversight. We work closely with our clients in order to understand the way in which they want to live in their home, their design style and aesthetic preferences, and their budgetary needs. Our goal is to deliver a beautiful, thoughtful and architecturally appropriate design and finished product that is tailored to our client's lifestyle and which they can enjoy for years to come.Ellen Weiss Design also provides landscape design services. We believe that seamlessly integrating a home's landscape with the built structure is crucial for creating a cohesive design and maximizing the home's livability. As landscape designers we promote a strong connection between the interior and exterior of the home. We strive to design livable and site appropriate landscapes that allow the beauty of the plantings to highlight the home's outdoor living spaces and the building architecture.Ellen Weiss has an AA degree in Interior Design, a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, and has studied Construction Management. Ellen has designed and overseen construction on very small to large interior and landscape projects.

Landscape designer and project manager for high-end residential landscape design/build firm. Responsibilities: client communication; design estimate preparation; conceptual and design development; prepare working drawings; construction cost estimating; budget development and contract preparation; field oversight and coordination of company work crews and subcontractors (concrete, masonry, finish carpentry, swimming pool and spa contractor, irrigation, electrical, rockery installation); track design and construction budgets; oversee permit process, site inspections and construction punchlist.

Developed landscape design and detailed planting plan for 3.5 acre public park located in Tukwila, WA; worked with Parks Maintenance Chief to coordinate plant procurement and manage volunteer planting event.
