- Undertake complex substitute decision making for adults with impaired capacity or acts as statutory health attorney of last resort.- Prioritise tasks to ensure continuity of support to clients with impaired capacity.- Empower clients and advocate for their human rights.- Liaise with the registry of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and represent the agency at Tribunal hearings.- Create high quality comprehensive reports which deliver accurate and up-to-date information. - Contribute unique skills and specialised knowledge to a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of client services.- Maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, service providers, advocates, government agencies and other interested stakeholders.

- Experience and understanding of case management in human services - Experience in the criminal justice environment and human services field - Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders - Confidence working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds - An understanding of the theories, models and research related to behavioural change techniques - Knowledge of risk assessments and processes within a criminal justice setting - Knowledge of legislation and how to apply associated policies and procedures - Strong problem solving skills with an ability to think creatively

- Supervise and manage offenders subject to community-based orders by undertaking direct interaction to ensure reporting and assessment requirements are met.- Ensure offenders comply with the conditions of their supervision order in accordance with legislation and operational practice guidelines.- Conduct drug testing of offenders and maintain accurate records.- Identify risk and respond appropriately, working together with the Queensland Police Service and other government agencies to ensure a high standard of community safety.- Participate in the rehabilitation of offenders through their management and involvement in intervention and community service programs.

• Undertake comprehensive pre-court preparation in accordance with procedures and court quality benchmarks including conducting and assisting others to conduct the necessary pre-court interviews.• Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Magistrates, Judges, legal representatives, police to ensure the provision of quality court services and further quality outcomes/ actions for young people and their families/carers.• Provide advice to offenders, families/carers, stakeholders and relevant justice staff as well as comprehensively completing post-court documentation and case notes.

- Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks- Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families- Promote the service within the local community
