I shadowed staff members from the community service, septic, and food services office. I assisted with documenting data, surveying land, and checking permits. I was able to use the data given by the community service office to do data entry, editing, geocoding, creation of a geodatabase, and map design to create a map of the spatial data of the transient non-communal water systems in Frederick county. This map was able to be used by staff members to track nitrate levels of properties from 2011-2019 and find warning areas.
