- Was a member of the Ice Dynamics and Paleoclimate team and worked on two of the team’s main projects: BEAMISH (Bed Access, Monitoring and Ice Sheet History) and Beyond Epica: Searching for the Oldest Ice- Processed and interpreted Antarctic GPR datasets collected for both projects using Reflexw and Petrel software- Generated 3D topographic maps of basement bedrock to investigate the basal conditions of the Rutford ice stream to further ascertain sedimentary controls on ice stream flow (BEAMISH), and to find best candidate sites for deep ice core drilling (EPICA)-Conducted hydrological and thermal modelling of subsurface ice sheet conditions for potential oldest ice sites (EPICA)

- Worked offshore and onshore on projects involving pre-engineering and pre-construction geophysical site surveys- Assisted during installation of geophysical equipment on board survey vessels with responsibility for checking geophysical equipment to the required standard- Involved in acquisition, quality control and processing of geophysical data such as side scan sonar, sub bottom profiler (pinger, boomer) and magnetometer data- Performed systematic interpretation of processed geophysical data offshore/onshore & compiled and prepared preliminary field and draft final reports- Learnt the importance of accuracy, deadlines, teamwork and good communication- Experienced working in an overseas and multi-cultural environment and overcoming thechallenges presented by these conditions

- Worked within environmental department in creating environmental impact assessments- Carried out fieldwork activities such as sampling and data collection of water around the Sual coalpower station as part of the team’s quarterly hydrogeological monitoring.- Produced hydrogeological monitoring report of the Sual Coal Power station, using Excel toformulate tables and analyse data from fieldwork
