About Emeka O.
Determination, an overwhelming sense of positivity, and a knack for time management are just some of the traits that got me through college, especially during my senior year where I juggled 6 different jobs all at once. After leaving Amherst College, I took a leap and went across the world to Singapore where I worked for a startup called Yale-NUS College in their Dean of Students Office. As a Dean’s Fellow (DF), I wore many hats that tested my ability to lead and manage effectively. In one day, I could go from mediating a conflict between roommates to ironing out the details for potential study abroad partners, or to facilitating a dialogue on the impact of race and social class. With my last year being the school’s fourth year of existence and with 706 students from 53 different countries, the DFs not only acted as cultural stewards but were the glue assisting in keeping the institution together with each passing year. After completing 3-years with the school, I traveled back to the states in order to pursue a graduate degree from Cornell University. With a focus on Human Resources and Conflict Resolution from the ILR School, I learned how to lead change management initiatives, new methods on improving employee relations/engagement, and a new array of conflict management skills. Not wanting to stop there, I also participated in the Semester in Strategic Operations (SSO) Immersion program hosted by Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business. By learning through practical application, I greatly increased my own business acumen, improved my analytical skills by breaking down big data, and problem solved strategic initiatives for a real-world sponsored company through a semester-long project. With all these experiences under my belt, I’m currently partnering with organizations to help them utilize LinkedIn to improve their sales processes in order to drive more pipeline and revenue.#deepsales #leadgeneration #newbusiness #growth #accountmanagement #ROI #pipeline #buyerintent #accountknowledge
