I earned a PhD in a biomedical science (Physiology) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. After a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship I transitioned out of academia and founded Adeptify, which specializes in communications challenges, from grants consulting to freelance writing and blogging. I am now a full-time grants consultant with Hanover Research, assisting clients with grants covering a broad spectrum of innovation—from robotics and software to applied physics, medical devices, and biomedical technologies—for agencies and foundations including the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, United States Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, Department of Education, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Spencer Foundation, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking (and blogging about cooking), home brewing, hiking, gardening, and piano.
Listed skills include Writing, Laboratory, Site Directed Mutagenesis, Qpcr, and 46 others.
