I tackle problems in creative ways using my multidisciplinary background in physics, oceanography, and science communication. As a PhD candidate at Boston University, I seek to improve understanding of our rapidly changing coastal ocean through the development of new observational technology. In addition to my dissertation research, I lecture in BU's Writing Program, serve as an analyst for BU's Office of Technology Development, and write and edit for the popular science blog Oceanbites.
