I regularly work across groups and functions to drive collaboration, encourage adoption of new methods, and achieve the best results for Citi. I enjoy developing talent and take pride in providing coaching and professional growth opportunities to my team.In addition to my core responsibilities, I serve as a leader in Citi's pro bono efforts both globally and locally.I also take great joy in supporting Citi's global and local diversity initiatives and mentoring programs, and I serve as Senior Business Sponsor of the Citi Young Professionals Group.

I focus on executing key department initiatives, managing expenses, and improving operational excellence for Citi’s Global Legal Department. I also serve as Chief of Staff to Citi’s Legal CAO/COO and Head of Global Legal Solutions. In addition to my core responsibilities, I serve as a leader in Citi’s pro bono efforts both nationally and locally, and am a leader/sponsor of several workplace diversity groups and volunteer initiatives.

I provide legal counsel to all of Citi’s US Personal Banking lines of business, including credit cards and mortgage, and I manage the process for reviewing and analyzing law and regulatory updates. In addition to my core job duties, which include regularly working across functions and locations, I am actively involved in Citi’s legal technology and pro bono efforts. Among other roles, I serve on the Citi Legal Technology Transformation Working Group, co-lead the St. Louis Legal Department’s robust pro bono program, and serve on the Citi North America Pro Bono Committee. I am also a Citi Changemaker and a member of the US Personal Banking Legal Digital Asset Working Group. Additionally, I take an active role in employee coaching and development, including by volunteering as an employee mentor.

In this role, I managed an average caseload of 150+ consumer litigation matters across the United States, focusing primarily on matters involving residential real property. This role required me to effectively develop and drive case strategy, manage outside counsel, and communicate extensively with internal stakeholders. In addition to managing cases, I continued my ongoing service on a variety of special project committees, including a legal technology transformation working group, and I played a key role in Citi's pro bono efforts through service on the North America Pro Bono Committee and service as a leader in Citi's St. Louis pro bono program. I also participated in a variety of mentoring programs offered by Citi, as both a mentor and a mentee. Prior to being promoted to Assistant General Counsel, I worked as a Senior Counsel, also in the consumer litigation space.

As an in-house attorney managing consumer litigation matters across the United States, my role required me to develop and drive case strategy, manage outside counsel, and communicate extensively with internal stakeholders to accomplish the best results. In addition to managing a sizable case load, I served on a variety of special project committees, including a legal technology transformation working group, and I played a key role in our department's robust pro bono program. I also led team recognition initiatives and became a manager in April, 2019.

My practice focused on business, commercial, construction, real estate, and banking litigation matters. In addition to regularly engaging with clients, my primary duties included frequently appearing in court, conducting discovery, and engaging in motion practice and settlement negotiations. As an associate in a full-service business law firm, I also worked on a variety of corporate and transactional matters.As a law student, I worked for the firm as a legal intern, researching the law, preparing memoranda, and drafting both litigation and non-litigation documents.

I practiced law under the supervision of licensed attorneys during my third year of law school, and was selected as a finalist for the SLU Law David Grant Award for my efforts in this role, which included extensive work on a murder case, conducting felony preliminary hearings, researching the law, drafting court filings, and assisting with felony jury trials. As a second-year law student, I provided research support to prosecuting attorneys for felony level cases.

In my role as a paralegal at a personal injury and employment law firm, my primary duties included meeting with clients; reviewing client documents and background materials, including medical and employment records; preparing information summaries; assisting with preparing and editing pleadings; and other administrative tasks such as answering phones, calendaring, and taking dictation.
