Substation Engineer

• Design small to large residential and commercial jobs to our construction and safety standards• Field check jobs to ensure proposed design is safe to be worked as planned and ensure that all prework has been completed• Determine when customer contributions are necessary by applying the tariff and credits to customer when applicable• Negotiate, describe, and secure easements• Communicate with customers to inform them of their responsibilities, get their schedule to ensure they receive power in a timely manner, and any delays that were unforeseen• Review customer plans to determine standard/non-standard voltage, transformer size and location, meter type, current transformer sizes as needed, and projected revenue
