As the first Development Director, I organized all the fundraising activities at a small non-profit that has a big impact on children and families. SSRF promotes literacy and reading in an effort to increase the number of children entering school prepared to learn, read, and succeed. In my four years in the development role, I doubled the organization's fundraising totals for annual campaigns and tripled those totals for our events. I also grew our donor base substantially and worked with major donors and grants.
