August 2015 through current – Teaching three general environmental science classes, one AP environmental science class and one section of BIO 105. All classes have a lab component and a class instruction component. Other professional duties include training other teachers in their classroom technology use, and curriculum development.August 2014 through May 2015 – Taught two freshman Biology courses and three upper class Medical Science courses. All classes have a lab component and classroom instruction. Other professional duties include test development and cooperative work across the district.

Taught one class of Earth Sciences, one class of Biology, many classes of Nature Study, and two classes of 7/8 grade Science. Prepared and gave at least one lab each week for all classes that was appropriate for material being taught in class. Ensured all classrooms had appropriate materials for labs and were prepared for next classes as classrooms were shared between all teachers of all subjects. Was responsible for all curriculum development for all classes as there was no curriculum development coach or previous curriculum in existence.

June 2009 through August 2011 and June 2014 through August 2014 - Trained and managed eight lifeguard staff members, oversaw the instruction of merit badge classes and developed lesson plans for use by lifeguard teaching staff. December 2011 through June 2014 -In charge of up to 80+ staff and all activities at camp. Maintain paperwork for staff and camp certifications. Trains staff in all emergency and teaching responsibilities.

January 2012 through June 2012 - Responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.March 2012 through June 2012 - Responsible for the instruction and guidance of all NYS required living environment lab to students. Prepared, taught, guided and graded students through their living environment labs.

Developed coordinated and maintained a resident community floor with an aim to provide a positive intellectual, emotional and social living environment for residents of Flint Hall. Responsible for community life, college skill education, and assisted in maintaining a community environment for 83 resident college students. All while working towards a degree.

Guided students through weekly chemistry problem sets. Taught students the chemistry skills needed for tests and assignments. Prepared them for the lab courses with their pre-labs, safety and equipment. Showed students that there is fun to be had in chemistry.
