I was responsible for interviewing and hiring staff for key positions within the area of responsibility to maintain a high level of professionally trained staff. I was also responsible for terminating employees, payroll, and scheduling of all banquet staff. I took care of billing, price changes, and conference renovations, upgrades, etc. I collaborated with the Executive Chef on menu changes and designed three new menus for the Conference Center. I also represented the company at several Bridal and Trade shows.

While working at VT Tent Company, I coordinated and performed the planning, décor, and execution of weddings with up to 250 guests as well as the rental of party equipment such as tents, china, glassware, flatware, linens, cooking equipment, and tabletop design. I worked closely with the premier caterers, florists, and other wedding and event professionals in VT, NY, NH, ME, and Montreal to offer clients a broad range of services. I also acted as a representative for the company at multiple “Vermont Vows” bridal shows and the “Martha Stewart Tabletop Show” in NYC.
