Lead agency grant making efforts, granted over $3 Million dollars throughout the state of Washington.Negotiated and managed contracts and sub-contracts with 36 agencies throughout the state of Washington.Served as primary liaison with representatives of applicant and funded organizations, Washington State, private philanthropy, provider and advocacy organizations, and interested parties throughout the state.Supervised 4 staff and reported to the Deputy Director.

Responsible for granting over $9 Million dollars throughout the state of WashingtonCoordinate communications with representatives of applicant and funded organizations, Washington State, private philanthropy, provider and advocacy organizations, solicit and review grant applications. Coordinate the Steering Committee and review panel to rate and review applications and staff the Steering Committee. Monitor all grantee agencies; maintain files on all agencies receiving funds. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports on grantees and the WFF fund.

Manage day to day operations of the Homeownership Programs. Support Program Coordinator with calls to the homeownership hotline.Oversee the updates of WHC resource materials and website. Instructs realtor trainings - educating over 300 real estate professionals on assistance programs. Teach first-time homebuyer seminars; develop new trainings and resource material as needed. Facilitate committee meetings on program issues. Conduct outreach throughout the state as well as participate in resource fairs and homeownership seminars to promote the agency. Manage program and project deliverables and outcomes. Design and implement outcome measurements. Prepare reports on outcomes for grants, Board of Directors, Annual Report, and a statewide report on obstacles to first-time homebuyers.

Oversee the reimbursement of more than 8 funding sources totaling over $2 Million – Writes grants to support the growth of the city, specifically in the areas of Parks and Recreation, Arts, Environment, and Capital Improvement. Ensures that all reporting to funders is done on time and accurately reflects the project work being completed. Coordinates with contractors to maintain up to date record of work being performed.Worked with the Planning Manager to enforce city ordinances and set policy for growth within the city. Staffed the Planning Commission who oversees changes in city ordinances, updates the comprehensive plan and makes recommendations to the city council on sub division requests. Worked with residents on issues from property sub divisions to land disputes.

Write Grants, negotiate and coordinate In-Kind Donations, working closely with the Directors and Managers of 6 internal departments. Ensure that the Fundraising Department is on track to achieve community fundraising goals.

Served as Supervisor of the Community Information Line. Hired, trained and supervised 7 Information and Referral Specialists in all aspects of community resources referrals, policies and phone protocols. Conducted and facilitated staff meetings. Resolved staff and client grievances in accordance with personnel policies. Monitored and assisted with complex or life-threatening calls. Coordinated and monitored special contacts and programs with other agencies. Served as Liaison to external agencies to ensure programs are functioning efficiently and smoothly.

Served as a Housing & Homeless Specialist. Developed and maintained effective relationships with community agencies and coalitions. Worked within the community to assess and address needs of homeless people. Created and delivered trainings on housing and homelessness issues to staff and members of the community. Produced informational brochures for clients and agencies on resources available within the community. Generated a variety of reports for funders. Participated in advocacy and special projects to educate elected officials, the general public and funders around homeless and housing issues.
