I am a senior at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. I am graduating in December 2024 with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Business. When I’m not hitting the books, I try to stay as active in the campus community as possible! Here are some ways I’m staying involved on campus!1) I am involved in Greek life as a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, and I proudly served as Educational Vice President for my chapter during the 2022-2023 academic year. 2) I am a member of the Communications Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta, which recognizes excellence and dedication in the field of communications. 3) This fall, I’ll be serving as a communications course assistant, helping fellow students excel in the classroom.4) In 2023 and 2024, I was honored to receive the Spiritual Life Leaders Mentorship from the University of Puget Sound. This role is dedicated to fostering a vibrant religious community on campus, promoting various religious events, and nurturing an inclusive campus community where students and faculty from diverse backgrounds can freely express and celebrate their faith. 5) Beyond campus perimeters, I've expanded my horizons through a study abroad experience in Vienna, Austria. During the spring semester of 2024, I immersed myself in Austrian culture alongside 255 other students from across the United States. Through IES abroad, I had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of cross-cultural communication dynamics through classes, events, travel, and an internship with a local Austrian school.
