During this internship, I am working with Clemson University Facilities and CarbonCents to help Clemson reduce energy usage of the university. Specifically, I am helping to clean up the Microsoft Excel data used in PowerBI for energy tracking. It is crucial to have accurate data to allow for more accurate tracking. My next goal is to begin to troubleshoot issues within PowerBI. Overall, the goal is to create more accurate energy tracking data for Clemson University to find areas that can be improved for lower energy usage.

At Danfoss, I facilitated the efficient selection of appropriate parts for assembly. Along with that, I collaborated with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines. To do so, I utilized warehouse management systems to monitor material movement and maintain accurate inventory levels. Throughout this role, I gained valuable experience. I learned about how a manufacturing plant operates and how crucial the operators are in the plant. It is important to maintain healthy relationships with other operators to maintain a positive environment throughout the plant. Each person is extremely important in the operation of the plant.

In this role, I worked with the General Engineering Department to aid introductory engineering classes. I sat in the class to aid the professor by walking around and answering student's questions about relevant coursework. Beyond class time, I conducted tutoring sessions to help support students with homework and other assignments. Finally, I offered valuable guidance to facilitate student success in introductory engineering courses

In this role, I worked to improve my technical, business, leadership, and communication skills. The goal was to focus on building solutions that provide customers with the most energy-efficient buildings. I focused on various different aspects such as analyzing data outputs, developing solutions, and communicating with customers. Along with energy engineering, I gained knowledge on technical sales that include technical knowledge of HVAC, working with Sales Engineers, and the importance of customer relations. I spent time with an Account Manager going on customer visits, interacting with his customers, and learning more about sales tactics.
