Since completing a degree in Literature and Philosophy, I have worked in a number of roles in the Education sector. I began my career as the Assistant Director of a tutoring centre in south Oxford, specialising in English and Maths. Following on from this I moved into Ed-tech and a schools-facing role as an Account Manager and then Education Adviser for an online learning platform. I have spent the past six and a half years as an Education Adviser with GL Assessment, working with multi-academy trusts, government funded projects, and local authorities to provide support, training and data analysis. My primary role is to assist central teams and their schools to administer standardised assessments effectively and utilise the wealth of data to improve teaching and learning and maximise positive outcomes.
