Dynamic problem solver supporting a wide range of processes and projects.- As the photolithography engineer, I support process development, coordinate and contribute to equipment preventative maintenance and repair, and work closely with the team to root cause process variations.- I possess both a mechanistic understanding and maintenance experience for myriad photolithography tools. I pursue long-term equipment solutions in parallel with employing creative workarounds.- In addition to process development for a wide range of projects through photolithography, I see a handful of projects from start-to-finish through research and development and into production. I make travelers, oversee production steps, create and execute experiments, and collect data.

- Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) process engineer supporting NHanced's advanced packaging and hybridization efforts.- Oversee and refine planarization of wafers for small batch, novel projects with myriad applications.- Conduct research to refine copper, barrier metal, silicon, and silicon oxide polishing procedures to effectively planarize customer wafers for optimal bonding.- Coordinate with and manage 2 process technicians to efficiently and effectively process wafers to spec.

-Research focused on improving the current deep brain stimulation (DBS) paradigms for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

-Research focused on transient electronics used for peripheral nerve modulation with applications in neural prosthetics. -Led a project examining the effectiveness of transient cuff electrodes in providing peripheral nerve conduction blocks with kilohertz frequency alternating current (KHFAC).-Through this research, regularly performed several rodent surgical procedures: sciatic nerve exposure, nerve coaptation, implantation of long-term cuff electrodes with headcap interfacing.-Scope of the project included designing an ambulatory animal model to determine the effectiveness of using a transient device to deliver a KHFAC block for pain management applications.

- Lab of Dr. Soohyun Lee in the Institute of Mental Health. - Mapped presynaptic inputs to S1 projecting neurons in the primary somatosensory cortex. - Optimized a behavioral paradigm utilizing optogenetics that was used to determine some of the thalamocortical interactions involved in sensory processing.- Streamlined a process for data analysis, which included writing ImageJ and photoshop macros to register and count individual cells in mouse brain sections using NeuroInfo. Aligned sections to a brain atlas to determine the neuronal connections within various regions of the thalamus. This work also allowed the Lee lab to do their own data analysis instead of outsourcing, which will greatly expedite future research.

Worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Viventi Lab at Duke University. Optimized an animal behavioral model which included 3d CAD design, MatLab data analysis, and examining potential sources of error in experiments. Also committed to behavioral training for rats to study the auditory cortex’s response to stimulation and frequency-specific discretion.
